Ghicha yarn is an organic and wild silk from pierced, cut, flimsy, insect damaged and double cocoons. Because it is damaged cocoons, it is usually spun directly from the silk cocoon using the village women’s thighs.
Kakishibu is a traditional Japanese dye/paint, using un-ripened persimmon that have been fermented and aged for more than 2 years. Kakishibu has a history of over 1000 years.
