Tussah Handspun Wild Silk Yarn – Thigh spun, produce by women spinners from a small village named NUAPATNA ( ORISSA State ), situated in Eastern part of India. This village is famous for its hand spinning & thigh spinning process. This yarn is produce from Tussah Silk Waste/Fiber.

The Cocoons grows in the tribal forest areas, without any use of chemical or pesticide.
The Pupa inside the cocoons leave before it is process, so there is no harm to the Pupa inside the cocoons when it fly’s away. That’s why this silk is called AHIMSA or Non-Violence Silk or Peace Silk.
